I chose to go a different route with our cat tree. Kitty loves the extra scratching surfaces and the ball and mouse. The reason I gave this less stars is because it is unbalanced. There is a strap to attach it so it can't fall. We haven't moved it to it's permanent home yet, so it is not strapped down. The strap is apparently lots of fun too.
